ERP and CRM for a B2B product company
An ERP designed from scratch for a company that makes products and sells through distributors: six modules, five departments and a distributor interface.
- Client
- Rifbar Inc.
- Period
- Sept 2023 – Sept 2025
- My role
- Product designer (UX/UI), later design engineer
- Focus
- Product design, ERP, Design system

Context
The client makes products and works with distributors. The ERP covers five departments (Management, Warehouses, Finances, Lawyers, Marketers) and a distributor interface: six modules in total.
Problem
- Users aged 22 to 65 found the system intuitive, but struggled with first navigation and onboarding.
- The old tools had scalability limits, complex workflows with a steep learning curve, fragmented information and a dated ERP interface.
- The question: how to make onboarding and navigation fast enough that people switch without losing time.
What I did
- Ran stakeholder brainstorms with developers and team managers, then interviews and personas for each department.
- Drew wireframes for every screen, then low- and high-fidelity prototypes.
- Ran two rounds of usability studies. Findings: tables and cards read clearly, users want breadcrumbs, trust and safety matter, and themes, text resizing and screen reader support were requested.
- Added responsive layouts and a dark theme, and wrote functional specifications for stakeholders, developers and QA.
Deliverables
- Wireframes and mockups for six modules
- Responsive mobile screens
- Dark theme
- Design system
- Functional specifications
Outcome
Users responded positively after the first month of use.
Follow-up project
Follow-up: from mockups to a coded design system
In October 2026 I turned the ERP mockups into the Rifbar Design System, a React and TypeScript library with documentation in Storybook. I directed an AI-assisted pipeline (Figma, Figma MCP, Claude Code, GitHub pull request, Vercel preview), chose what to build, and reviewed and merged every pull request.
